Recently relaunched website is first of new activities to take place in 2023
The International Photographic Council (IPC), an NGO of the United Nations has relaunched its website. The new site features a modern design and is fully responsive, displaying just as well on mobile as on computers.
The redesigned website sets the tone for a flurry of activity IPC expects to work on in 2023.
IPC’s longtime President, James L. Chung passed away in June of 2022. In October, 2022, photographer Andy Marcus was elected by the Board of Directors of IPC as the new president.
“Rebuilding the IPC website is the first step in moving the organization forward to meet today’s needs within the international photographic and imaging industry,” said Marcus. “Speaking for the IPC board, we’re all looking forward to the activities that are being planned in the near term, later this year and looking ahead, as IPC gets ready to celebrate our 50th anniversary in 2024,” he added.
Those within the photoimaging industry are welcome to visit the IPC website to learn more about IPC, its motto and vision, view upcoming news and announcements including details about upcoming meetings; and peruse the galleries of past award events.
IPC’s next planned event will be the Hall of Fame award luncheon, to be held at the United Nations Delegates Dining Room in New York City on Oct. 18, 2023. More details will be coming soon to the IPC website.
